Why respond

Your reputation is being written whether you reply or not

Candidates talk — to their networks, on social media and on review sites. A short, professional reply turns a negative story into proof that your company follows through.

  • Set the record straight. Explain internal delays, a filled role, or a misunderstanding.
  • Fix wrong details. Tell us if you’re a franchise, a reseller, or not the right company at all.
  • Protect your talent pipeline. Strong candidates who feel respected apply again and refer others.
  • Show you’re improving. Acknowledging a candidate’s effort sets you apart in a competitive market.

Three ways to respond

  1. Use the link in our email. Every employer we notify gets a secure link straight to the report — no account needed.
  2. Create a company profile. See every report about your company in one portal, respond, and message candidates directly. Profiles using your company email domain are verified instantly.
  3. Find the report. Search your company on the community board, then sign in to respond.

Who sees my response?

After a quick moderator review, your response is emailed to the candidate and posted directly beneath their report — unless the candidate asked to keep replies private, in which case only they see it.

The report names the wrong company. What can I do?

The response form asks whether the company name is correct. Choose that you’re a franchise, a reseller, or that the information is wrong, and our team will review and correct the listing.

Are reports checked before they’re posted?

Yes. Every report is reviewed by a moderator before it appears, and reports with threats, offensive language or personal information about individual employees are not published.

Does it cost anything?

No. Company profiles and responses are free.
